Hi there! I’m a Nashville native, designer and illustrator, wife and mom, Lutheran, wholehearted nerd, and lifelong crafter. When an injury and surgery/recovery had me laid up for several months in Spring 2024, I found I needed something to keep my hands (and my brain) occupied. I picked up a cross-stitch kit that I'd started months earlier, and it was a delight! Soon I was designing my own patterns, decorating the hoops to match, and making unique gifts for my loved ones. My background in graphic design, illustration, and consumer product and packaging design inspired me to launch Hoops & Dreams in Fall 2024. Each kit reflects my love of thoughtful design, creative storytelling, and handmade charm.
